Two weeks and counting
Our weekend was pretty good. We went out to a disco club on Saturday with some of my friends from work, so that was pretty fun. Then on Sunday we had a nice turkey dinner, but most people who were supposed to come ended up cancelling, and so there were only 3 of us. The dinner was good, but I definitely messed up the gravy somehow, it was pretty gross. I'll try again some other time, I guess.
A new TV show started here as well, it's called Robin Hood - yes, based on the mythos. It's not bad, actually - for a British show. I don't know you Canadians will get it because it's British, but if you do, it's worth checking out.
Two weeks till Scotland and fun. Can't wait.

Robin Hood was pants - It's going to be shown in BBC America next year, so I imagine it'll be on BBC Canada or something at somepoint. It wasn't funny, there weren't any real twists and turns, it was all rather bland. It could have been so much better!
Hi Troe -- I'll let you in on a little secret --- you have to keep stirring gravy. Just kidding!!
We were at your Mom's of course last night for her usual scrumptious dinner. Turkey and all the trimmings. You two were missed and Sarah especially I think must have felt a bit lonesome, being the only young person there. But we had a fun evening ny way.
TAKE CARE OF YOURSELVES. lOVE AND BLESSINGS,
Happy Thanksgiving...and Guy Fox day... aways away yet...
I am glad you had Thanksgiving dinner... even if gravy was a little... what ever it was.
We had a good one too.
Day off for us today! Beautiful weather here... wonderful fall this year.
I am looking forward to "Robin Hood". Pants or no pants.
Thanks for your continued "adventure jouranling. We love hearing from you. It was nice to talk on t he phone, though; it just seems more.. peronal.... Love and Light, Dad
Hey sweetie - glad to hear you had a not bad weekend. Sorry about your gravy. I make okay turkey gravy but can't make beef gravy very well. Oh well.
Hope you have a great 2 weeks before your week off.
Love and talk to you soon.

Hey Guys,
Glad to hear you still celebrated Thanksgiving out there! Kev and I went to my aunt's in Langley for dinner. It was yummy.
Don't worry, you weren't the only one who didn't have a long weekend, because I too had to work Monday (and Sunday as well).
By the way, Kevin is no longer my house husband. He has found a job in Richmond working in research for what I think is basically a company that makes thermal regulators. Looks like it's a combo of Physcis stuff and Computing Science. Sadly, not astronomy related.
That's about it out here for us, nothing too exciting. Though, I do have money saved for our trip out there now! So excited! Still not sure exactly when that will be, but will keep you posted when we know more!
Miss you guys!
Kim :)
