"The Holiday"

Last night we returned to the cinema (after a week absense due to poor selection) to see the new romantic comedy "The Holiday". Yesterday was a gruelling day for both of us and we were thrilled to get out and relax.

The movie follows the lives of four different people in relationship problems in two different continents (half in the UK and hlaf in the US). The movie was cute and fun - everything you would expect from a typical romantic comedy.

None of the characters' situations were very orinigal or complicated and for the most part the film was fairly predictable. It was still loads of fun and we both enjoyed it.

Hi you two: From the sounds of it, the schools in England leave a lot to be desired! Sometimes a chanage is as good as a rest... but if you stay at Rossmore, you could finish the theatre project... might be fun.

Movie souonds fun. Beauatiful pictures! Barcelona sounds like I would like to be there... more pictures, please!

I have two major performances next week and lots of extra practice.
Friday, Saturday, performance on Sunday... band and choir.., then performance on Wed. night called
Celebration of Light. I am singing a Josh Grobin number called "Believe".

The snow has melted here... maybe a brown Christmas...

Hugs... Dad

Thanks TA, we are off to Barcelona and will have to forego seeing a movie on Wednesday next week. Definitely want to see Pan's Labrynth - hope it comes out here soon! Looking forward to seeing you at New Year's!
