Extra! Extra!
Ok,so this weekI have been in an all boys school for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. On Monday a boy brought a knife in to school because he was being bullied and he wanted to stop the bullies, or scare them at least. Well, he brought out the knife and got into an arguement with one of the boys who bullied him and ended up getting cut himself on his own knife. That is all that is known at the moment, but it is obviously a huge deal and we had to send all these letters home yesterday explaining to parents what happened. When I read the letter it said that this was unrelated to another incident of the same kind just a few weeks ago! Crazy! Not sure if I like this all boys school thing.
On a lighter note, John is coming to visit this weekend, so we are really looking forward to that! Not a lot else new around here. Adam starts his new job next week, that's about it. It's really great to hear from people back home, even if it's just a one liner, so thanks for everyone that is writing!

Hi Hon.... Sounds like life at school is really different. Hang in there..."Small Boys School...." what does that mean... age, size, intelligence... Knives sound little scarey.
The cats are getting along much better, in fact, Dax and Link are playing a lot... one chases and then runs... sometimes thundersously up and down the stars. Yesterday, lani went to get a pillow from beneath the covers and disvered Link, and Dax was on the top of the covers... they were very close, separated only by the covers...

Warmer today... +2... and ice is melting, finally. Vancouver is getting more and more rain... again.

as it's getting warmer for you, it's getting colder here! It has been super cold the last couple of days! apparently, this is just when it gets cold here.

Hey sweetlings....dad spoke too soon. it is -6 this morning. not freezing your butt off or anything, but certainly not spring. Oh well, it won't be long and garage saling season will be on us once again.
Glad John is coming down, and I hope you guys have a blast. any special plans? Make sure you say hi to him and send a hug from us.
Please be careful with all those little mighters at school. That knife thing doesn't really sound to great.
Good luck to Adam on his new job. I know he'll impress them, and do well.
I think about you both every day (at least 3 times a day) wondering what you are doing.

Hi Troe and Adam. It's so nice to hear from you. What kind of schools do they have in England these days? Sounds like they've all gone crazy. Any way. wont be long now and you'll be back home again -- thank goodness. We miss you so much. even though we didn't see too much of you. Just knowing you were not very far off was enough.
Sarah tells me that she wil be going out to see you. I think she said in March. You;ll have lots to talk about.

I guess that knife incident could have gone much worse, and I guess it could happen anywhere, but wow. Glad you're okay.
